Hard to evaluate this campground as we camped here on a summer weekend and found it crowded and noisy. At other times we may have found it more enjoyable. I would not chance it here again on a summer weekend though. The $65 rate does not include the 10% tax, the total cost of over $70 is a bit high.

Our stay here was very enjoyable. The site was of decent size and extremely private. Campground is conveniently located near the highway and the town of Brookings. Great coastal scenery in this area. We would stay here again.

The campground was fine, but we will not be camping here again. I don't know how many of the campsites at Beverly come with this disclaimer, but ours did with our reservation confirmation: "Please do not dump a full holding tank into the campsite connection as it may overflow. Use the dump station located near the registration booth." When we arrived at our site it was apparent that not everyone reads (or chooses to follow) these instructions. It seems they should either have a fully functioning sewer hook up or seal it shut. I for one would certainly prefer having the dump station as the only option as opposed to leaving things to chance.

Excellent Park. Excellent water. Owners were very accommodating. Would stay here again.

Great location convenient to Leavenworth. Some spaces are a little close to neighbors, but overall a nice park. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Emma Wood immensely. I would rate it a "10" except for the fact that there is no dump station. Train/highway noise did not bother us at all and the beach down at the end of the campground is very nice. Downtown Ventura is nearby as well.

Very nice park. Clean and spacious campsites. We would stay here again when visiting Craters of the Moon.

We actually found the campground itself to be very enjoyable and very scenic. The low rating is due to the horrible 5 miles of road one must take into the park from the highway. I suppose it largely depends on the rig (a 4WD truck camper would likely fare better than our 31 Class C) but our overall experience here was a poor one. Even at a slow crawl the road was extremely rough. I would not camp here again.
